Sculptural Lamps

Where it all began.

The Sculptural Lamp Series was the very first body of work designed by Sarah Nedovic. Conceived from a lump of gifted clay and an impulse to create, the lamps became an overnight success, quietly establishing the foundation for Nedovic’s sculptural practice. 

Stemming from a fascination with form and an admiration for women who shaped the world through art, architecture, and design, each lamp is named in honour of a significant female figure – not in their physical form, but in what they embody: intuition, individualism, and strength.

Softly organic in shape, the lamps recall the spirit of influential figures such as Barbara Hepworth, Lady ‘75 and Peggy Guggenheim, Lady ‘79 – the coded naming convention taking inspiration from Eileen Gray’s Villa E-1027, a modernist icon where architecture, furniture and fixtures held equal weight. 

In 2022, following the birth of her second child, Nedovic made the decision to pause the production of the lamps to focus on family and allow space for inspiration. Now, after several years of growth and reflection, she is re-releasing the Sculptural Lamp Series in small, annual editions. 

Hand-built with clay in small, one-of-a-kind editions, each lamp is distinct yet connected – a study in balance, proportion, and unique geometry.
