Inspired by the Brutalist Spomenek memorials, Nedovic interprets the beauty of the bold formations through a contemporary lens into her own light giving sculptures. Stamatis’s diasporic melange examines the objet and talisman which informing her own visual language.  In coming together, Nedovic and Stamatis seek to explore the geological and anthropological ties that we have to the village. The show is made of two connected components discovered through the artists own experiences.
